Summer Summit 2009

Bishop TunstallLu and I invite you to join with us for our Centennial Celebration. On Wednesday evening, we will celebrate our heritage. On Thursday evening and all day Friday, we will look forward to our future.

We have changed the format this year to start on Wednesday and culminate on Sunday evening with our annual Global Outreach Rally, the dedication of our remodeled facilities and the sermon.

We believe you will be excited by the renovation of the campgrounds. Let’s celebrate!

Jimmy Whitfield

Jimmy WhitfieldJimmy Whitfield serves as pastor of the Goldsboro PH Church (NC Conf.), which just happens to be the first PH church in our denominational heritage. Jimmy took the pastorate when it was at a plateau of about 100 people; a hundred-year-old, declining church. He has successfully revitalized the church, turning it into a cutting edge 21st century ministry, with average attendance now in the 700's, and special days at 1,000+. The property evaluation exceeds $3,000,000. He is an excellent preacher and will connect easily with our people.

Clifford Sampier

Cliffor SampierRev. Clifford Sampier of Englewood, Colorado, was a member of the first graduating class of Southwestern Bible College. While there, he met and married Ruth Sexton.

Rev. Sampier pastored the Yukon PH Church and the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Oklahoma City. He worked for two years with Rev. R. L. Rex in Home Missions work, and in 1968 became superintendent of the Colorado Conference, serving in that role until 1985. At the same time, he pioneered Full Gospel Center in Englewood in 1969 and led the church as pastor until his retirement in 2007.

ZackMerrillBand

Worship will be led by the Zack Merrill Band. This popular group has led worship at several of our camps. They bring an excellent contemporary sound in worship. Don't miss this awesome chance to join young people of all ages in an exciting time of worship to the Lord!

Guest Speaker: Chip Brim

ChipBrim-webOur guest speaker for the evening service will be Chip Brim of Champions for Christ.

"Now it's time!" the Lord said to Chip Brim in 1998. "It is time to train Champions for Christ. I have taught you to train champions in baseball; now it is time to train Champions for Christ. I desire for my people to be champions-people who always prevail in the Last Days!"

Craving God diligently after answering the "call to preach," the Lord gave Chip a supernatural experience with a message from heaven about why believers are not receiving the answers to their prayers.

When Chip preaches this message (and other messages that the Lord gave him for the Last Days), the Lord confirms His Word with salvations, healings, deliverances, miracles, and visions.

Chip Brim was a highly successful coach in baseball at every level from high school to professional teams for 13 years. With ten championship baseball teams and an exceptional number of credits and awards, Chip uses the same principles God taught him about training champion teams with a supernatural anointing to build Champions for Christ in the Church.
